About Spearmint
ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: -- INDOORS ONLY -- NO OTHER PETS -- NO YOUNG CHILDREN, TEENS CONSIDERED -- QUIET TO MODERATE HOME --
Spearmint was found seemingly abandoned, so was brought to the shelter by our Inspectors. Spearmint can be a little hand shy at first, and a little skittish of sudden movements and loud noises. As such, she is searching for a calm and relatively quiet indoor home where she can be safe and loved. She is not suited to live with young children, though respectful teens will be considered. Spearmint is a bit of a bossy girl, so would do best in a home without other pets. She is definitely a sweetheart, but due to her being somewhat nervous, she doesn't always show this straight away. Once she is comfortable, Spearmint absolutely adores chin scratches and pats. Spearmint is not too used to being picked up, and at the moment she prefers to keep all four paws on the floor. She loves a high perch to watch the world go by, so would absolutely love to have a cat tower in the window of her new home. If you are willing to give Spearmint the time to settle in and become confident and relaxed, you will be rewarded with a sweet and loving companion.
