About Breezy
Breezy is a sweet energetic dog who listens well to commands and is very treat motivated. He is always keen to walk and pulls a little on lead. He has been Halti trained. He ignores cars, barked at some passing dogs and walks at a good pace. He enjoys cuddles, belly rubs and jumps up to lick your face. He sits on command.
Walkers say: "Needs a confident walker, but a great dog", "Very sweet and cuddly. Walked well on lead, very affectionate", "Loved cuddles, and got better with other dogs as walk progressed". "Most affectionate dog. So beautiful. Very clever and loves treats", "Knows sit and shake. Likes to trot and have a good sniff (marks a lot). Real cuddle bear. Licks face and leans into you"
He has a short coat and weighs 22.5kg.
Suit Part Time Worker: Copes alone for short periods, with training possibly longer but presently does need someone home part of the time
Garden: Needs a home that has more space as well as a garden for exercise and regular walks outside.
NEEDS RESCUE EXPERIENCE: Many people grow up with, or own a dog who has had no bad experiences in life. A dog who is confident and well rounded. However, many rescue dogs have not been as lucky in their lives.
These dogs need someone with previous rescue experience and an in depth understanding of and experience in building relationships with these kinds of dogs.
Medical notes
He comes desexed, C5 vaccinated, heartworm free and microchipped. Also included for the love and health of our dogs is a free Health and Wellness Voucher with our DR Vet.
Adoption details
DoggieRescue is a charitable organisation and as such we rely very much on volunteers to manage our adoptions. We answer initial adoption enquiries by email or phone and then arrange an appointment for you to meet some of our rescue dogs.
At DoggieRescue we believe our dogs deserve to find that special someone who will love them and look after them forever. We know that there are homes out there that are willing to accommodate one more little member of the family and dedicate time to their well being.
