About Opal
All About Me and My Unique Personality:
Opal is a gentle girl that has just this week finished rearing her babies she is being desexed on Tuesday coming she is a little timid at first then becomes your best friend Opal has never been cranky even when her kittens tiny she was always happy for us to handle her kittens and enjoy the attention she gets
My Ideal Home:
My ideal home will need to be an inside one with kids or without and one that will give Opal a week or 2 for her to feel comfortable and come out of her shell
What is Known About My Background:
Opal came from a rural pound pregnant and had her 3 babies only 2 days after coming into care she was found as a stray
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets:
Opal is good with kids she has swiped our cat and dog on an occasion but she is still protecting her kitten I’m sure she will be fine with a slow introduction
Adoption details
Applicants will be required to complete and submit an Adoption form from https://www.hunteranimalrescue.com.au
HAR uses the details in this form to select the most appropriate family for our animals. This form allows us to get to know you, your home, your family, lifestyle and level of experience with pets.
Adoptions are NOT approved on a first come first served basis. The adoption process can be lengthy by the time we process all expressions of interest.
HAR Adoption Process
1- Carer will assess and arrange a meet and greet with suitable applicants.
2- If the meet and greet is successful, a yard/home inspection is conducted.
3- If your yard/home passes inspection, the adoption fee is paid, paperwork completed and a 2 week trial period is arranged.
4- On successful completion of the trial period HAR will submit paperwork to Local Council for processing.
Adoption fee includes:- mandatory de-sexing, microchip, vaccination, vet check, flea and worm treatment.
Please understand that by filling in this form, it by no means guarantees that you will be successful in the adoption process, nor does it obligate you to adopt.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
