About Roma
Sweet Roma has raced, she's been left for a while waiting in kennels, and now at last it's her time to take it easy, rest and learn the life of a pet. She's had a taste of the good new life with her foster mum and her foster greyhound sister, and she says, 'Yes, please!'
Roma is enjoying testing all of the different comfortable dog beds around the house. She's loving the company of her mum and hound sister, but she's also proving to be fairly independent, and does okay with time on her own. Time spent out and about is lots of fun too. Roma loves to go for a walk, and has been a very good girl on trips to the park and the dog beach (while on lead, of course!). She's been great meeting lots of lovely humans, and she seems to really like children!
Meeting other dogs is fun too - she's had a great time playing with large and medium dogs. Roma has also shown real promise with some of the small dogs she's met, but the more bouncy of the little guys have been awfully exciting, and so we think Roma would be better off in a forever home with no small dogs (and definitely no cats or pocket pets).
This lovely lady has well and truly earned her retirement, and she would like to find a loving family to spend it with. Cozy cuddles, gentle strolls and happy memories await the family lucky enough to call this girl their own. If you would like to bring Roma home, please get in touch.
At Homeward Bound Hounds, we pride ourselves on matching the right dog to the right family. When responding to this post, please tell us:
• A bit about yourself, including your work patterns and the number of hours the dog will be left alone each day
• About the people and pets you share your life with.
• The type and size of your residence / yard (is it securely fenced?)
• Anything else you think will help us find the perfect dog for you
