About Khia ~ 2Yr Old Mastiff X ~ On Trial 12/7/20
Hi I'm Khia, a sweet almost 2 year old Mastiff X. Maybe a bit of Cattle dog too! Dog Rescue Newcastle are helping my owners find me a new home, a home with active people who are willing to spend lots of time with me.
I am a very happy & excited girl who loves to be around people. I have a lot of love to give! My favourite thing to do is go for walks. I am super friendly and get along with other dogs. I currently live with a cat, some chickens & come last in the pecking order which is kind of unfair considering I'm the biggest by far. My new family will need to ensure im introduced properly to all new members of my forever home, its important I understand new boundaries.
I have received some training & can sit, stay, lay down and even shake hands. I'm pretty clever, check out the video to see for yourself. I would love a fur brother or fur sister but am also fine as an only dog. I would be well suited to an active couple that could walk me every day. I would love a family that will invite me inside & include me in the family activities. I absolutely love children but I get very excited & sometimes jump. Being a big girl I can accidentally knock small children over so would suit a family with older children.
If you think you can offer me the wonderful life that I deserve, I promise to reward you with lots of love & affection.
For more information or to meet me, please email Kirsten at kirstenmcclay@gmail.com . I am in the Rathmines area, NSW. (South of Newcastle, NSW, Australia)
Khia’s adoption fee is $350 and includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments and microchipping.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal cheques.
