About Zarra
Drum roll please... Dun, Dun, DUNNN! Meet the beautiful Zara. This sweet but independent woman is looking for her forever home after a rough beginning. She was brought into the rescue after being found as a stray at Bribie Island, and has been with her current foster mummy for just over a month.
During this time, many independent traits have been noticed. Such as not liking to be picked up and craddled for long periods of time, little cuddles are okay though and if her humans annoy her, she will let you know. Although, unlike most strays, she will let you know when she has had enough attention, so children are not a good fit for her as they may miss those signals. During her time in care, she has become a lot more affectionate and will come to her foster mum for attention and cuddles.
Soft blankets, beds, treats and a climbing jungle gym, and she is set. She's not a very playful kitty so no need to spend money on silly, childish toys (as she would say). She also prefers, like most women, to be the centre of your attention, so fellow kitties and doggies are a no. According to her current carer, within the last few days, she has become a lot more cuddly in the morning and evening when it's bed time. This is a big step for this little woman. She's slowly starting to trust people, which is amazing.
"If I would have to describe Zara, I would say she's like an expensive painting or statue. Looking is allowed, but no touching. Unless she comes to you" - Zara's carer.
