About 2975 - Zanzi
🐾😻 MEET ZANZI 😻🐾
Hi everyone, my name is Zanzi. I was found living at a train station. It was tough living outside in the cold and the heat, having to catch my own food and not having clean water. Thankfully, I was found by someone who put me in the hands of the amazing carers at Perth Rescue Angels. At first, I wasn’t happy at all, it was a big change for me. I was really scared and wasn’t used to my new environment.
I am still very skittish and quite timid so I haven’t quite warmed up to humans yet and I don’t know what it is like to be petted just yet either. At this stage, I am just happy watching from afar. I am still really unsure of people so I am definitely a work in progress and I’m more suited to someone that has the time, patience, and the understanding that I will take time to settle in.
I have met some of the other cats in the house and I wasn’t bothered by them at all so if you already have a resident cat, I think we will get along just fine with a slow introduction. My current accommodation doesn’t have dogs or children but with time, my foster carers say that they are sure I will be able to adapt.
I am currently fed wet food in the morning and at night and dry food to snack on throughout the day. I have become accustomed to being indoors and I’m now purely an indoor cat. I prefer it this way with all the cars around and the harsh sun and cooler nights.
I’d love nothing more than to be given a chance to show you just how much of an amazing companion I can be. My fosters carers say they will miss me a lot and will make someone very happy they decided to give me a chance.

2975 - Zanzi
Gender: Male
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Colour: Grey & White
DOB: 22/06/18
Adoption Fee: $125
*Zanzi's adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, vaccination, microchip, flea and worm treatment
Medical Notes: Zanzi has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) which is a virus that can affect his immune system, however, he can still potentially live a long healthy life. FIV is transmitted through deep bite wounds. Due to his FIV Zanzi will need to be an inside only cat. If you have other cats it is recommended that they are vaccinated against FIV and that you use precaution when introducing them to ensure that they get along without fighting.
Zanzi was also exposed to cat flu, which is a respiratory infection. He did not show symptoms and was given the all clear by the vet.
🐾 Perth Rescue Angels recommends Advantage, Advocate, and Drontal from Elanco Animal Health for all your new furry family members' flea and worming needs.
