About 3254 - Penguin
🐾🐧 MEET PENGUIN 🐧🐾
Nature
Hello there, my name is Penguin! I came into care after being found living near a scary and busy road with a few other kitties. I came into foster care with my buddy Dash. Neither of us had encountered humans much before so we were super scared! I’m still not sure how this whole “live inside with all the cuddles and food I could ever want” works, so I still keep my distance a bit. I think it must just be too good to be true and I’m scared of being tricked.
I let my foster mum give me some scritches, after politely letting me sniff her hands first of course. I always use my manners! I even ensure I say ‘thanks’ by giving little gentle nibbles on her fingers and some gentle licks. I really do want the love and cuddles, but I’m still pretty unsure of you people-things so do my best to perch in the cat tree, cosy igloos, play tunnels and boxes where I feel safe.
Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I love my buddy Dash, so I would probably do really well with other furry companions at my new home to help me adjust and gain some confidence. I haven’t met any little people or doggos yet, and to be honest, they may be a little too scary for me at this point.
Likes / Dislikes
I love feeling safe and secure being able to look down at the world from above so please make sure I have some warm safe cubbies to chill in or cat trees to climb. I love my wet food and have perfect litter tray manners. My favourite toy is definitely the ping pong ball! I’m a shy guy, so sudden moves and unexpectedly loud noises send me running for cover.
