About Dobermann 000225554
Although she has experience with young children she is prone to being headstrong and would require older children >12 yrs old.
She does require a strong leader with Dobermann experience ONLY, and training methods which require knowledge of club level training methods and equipment.
She does have a prey drive and would only be adopted to a house with no cats.
She is an outside/inside girl (at night), while fine outside she would need to be crated inside at night until she finds her feet in the routine set by NHFD and the new family, this is a process we install in new homes for the comfort of the Dobermann who is currently crated/in her own bed.
She is available to interstate adoptions.
Her diet is a raw food diet only with a small amount of dry food (meals for mutts or frontier pets only - NHFD prerequisite).
Her activities include a great enjoyment interaction with frisbees and balls, and she will require dedicated daily training to get her through her lack of experience with other dogs. She requires someone who is able to give her a firm and steady hand to experience what she lacked in the first 14 months of her life from poor management and low handling skills.
She is driven by food and is easy to train under a strong female or male handler.
She rides well in the car and is a complete velcro dog.
She is best suited to a house with no other pets, she does get along with other Dobermanns after the right introduction, she will need continued supervision to ensure there is harmony.
Her personality is that she wants to be close to you, and is ideal for obedience training. She's a lot of fun and a little sweetie when she feels safe.
She has plenty of energy and she loves to interact with her people.

Adoption details
We will communicate with you via this app first, and then direct you to our website to fill in our online form which requires prof of secure fences, and safe dog access areas.
You will need extensive training or this girl to understand she has come from a rural lack of supervision background and was left to her own devices; we have worked tirelessly to make her safe and care for her, but her training is not finished.
We have recently had her professionally assessed to assist a new home to follow and interact with our behaviours for success in a new home.
No homes with little children or other pets will be followed up.
