About Sooty and Lily
Sooty (a ragdoll) and Lily (a Himalayan) are a great pair for a calm, quiet, and loving home. Sooty is a super easy going deaf boy who loves cuddles all day long. True to his breed he is vocal and with his deafness he can be loud. Especially when he is stressed so he will need extra patience while he settles in.
Lily prefers to keep more to herself, but when she decides she likes you she’ll come and sit on your lap rolling over and asking for cuddles. She particularly loves scratches on the head and bum! She is incredibly playful and loves chasing a toy or laser.
They spend most of the day sitting staring outside the window at the world moving past.
These senior cats are a lovely pair who are in care in Fitzroy.
Sooty and Lily must go together. Sooty, being deaf, is very dependent and lost without her. We are looking for a carer who is experienced with this breed and will understand their needs and be willing to give them patients in the first few weeks in care.
Medical notes
Sooty (MC number: 991003000533204) is deaf and they both have some tarter build-up, however given their age surgery is not a good option.
It is unclear if Sooty has been desexed, however if he hasn't he has undescended testicles and this plus the fact that he is 13 means he is unlikely to father any kittens.
Lily is healthy, vaccinated and desexed (MC number: 982009104882211).
Both cats have some tarter on their teeth but given the age the vet has advised against a clean under anaesthesia.
