About Luna
Hi Everyone!
My name is Luna and I have just turned 3 years old - I am looking for my furever humans!
Need to get this out first encase you stop reading – I am obsessed with my ball (football, soccer ball, tennis ball - you name it I love it!!!) I will take my ball wherever I go (even to the beach) so if this is something you won't like - I won't be the dog for you.
My foster mum says with out a doubt I show all the characteristics of my breed - super smart, energetic, intelligence and fantastic athletic ability, My new parents must understand my breed and personality and be willing to successfully guide me through life!
As still a young lady, I do need some help but I promise I am worth it (I am very clever). I absolutely love adventures and will make the best exercise and running buddy.
I am a happy girl who loves to play with the ball, (I do take the football off my fur brother atm), walks and just general play and of course when I’m comfortable with you – cuddles!!
I am good with my manners and I love spending time with my family. At the moment I am with a fur brother – He is so chilled so that is great as I would happily have a fur sibling but not one that is really dominant. My foster mum says I am really gentle but of course I do have to be careful around small kids as they bounce accidentally of course!
I would very much like to live with another fur friend (but not a fan of small breed dogs) for company and playing but I do get a bit dominant over dogs who are gentle and kind – I don’t mean to but I am working on it. I could also live with no other animals, as long as I get plenty of daily exercise and have lots of fun with you I will be happy!
Luna will need a minimum of 6ft fences while she learns about them.
Luna is not good with cats - she will chase them as she thinks if they run that means chase.
Once I am comfortable and settled I show my true self – my foster mum says I’m gorgeous and very loving!
If you are okay with giving me that chance after meeting me and my soccer ball obsession then please click on the adoption application link!

Adoption details
Paw Prints Canine Rescue is a non for profit dog rescue located in Southeast Queensland.
All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated).
Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.
Please note - we are not a pound or have kennels - all our dogs stay in foster carers homes and therefore dogs are not able to be simply viewed - only approved applicants will meet the dogs.
We can also be found at https://www.facebook.com/pawprintscanine/
Complete the following adoption enquiry link

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
If applying to adopt one of our furbabies over the age of 6 months we recommend that you bring to the meet and greet any of your furbabies to see how they interact.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 2 week trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 2 week trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby.
