About Rosie ~ 2yo Kelpie x Bulldog (On Trial 10/07/20)
Rosie is a 2 year old Kelpie x Bulldog with a sweet, playful nature and a lot of love to offer.
Rosie has good manners, and since coming into care Rosie has learnt a number of basic commands including sit, down and stay. She has proven to be very smart and a quick learner. Rosie knows her name and comes when called, and is house trained. She has also begun crate training and is adjusting to this well.
Rosie loves people, and as soon as she sees or hears someone coming, she can’t help her tail wagging with excitement. Her favourite thing to do is snuggle up to someone, and loves attention.
As a working breed dog, Rosie requires daily exercise and play. After her daily walk she is happy to chill out, napping in her foster parent’s home office or outside in the sun. Rosie currently sleeps inside at night and needs a home where she is allowed to be inside as she loves to be part of the family.
Rosie currently lives with 3 other dogs and loves to play. She can be timid around new dogs at first however she quickly warms up and is very happy to be included in playtime. Rosie has not been exposed to cats or other small pets. Rosie is friendly towards everyone including children.
Rosie would love a home where she is around people as much as possible and allowed to be a part of the family. She requires a family with time to exercise her at least once a day. She would enjoy another friendly, active male dog to play with, however would also be OK as an only dog. Rosie will need a secure yard with 6ft+ fencing.
Rosie is currently in care in the Newcastle area, NSW. For more information, email Darcy at darcy.hazell@hotmail.com or you can fill out the adoption form online at https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
Rosie’s adoption fee is $450 and she is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and up to date with flea, worm and tick treatments.

If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
