About Bossco
Introducing our favourite giant – Boscco!
Boscco is a 3 year old Neapolitan Mastiff and has a heart as big as his body!
Boscco is also officially the first place winner (ever) of the Paw Prints Canine Rescue drooling, slobbering, and snoring competition hands down!
While he has mastered the above competition don’t let that be the things you remember most about him - Boscco is a big baby who just loves to be around his people – he loves nothing more than going for a walk, hanging out in the backyard, watching TV or snuggling on the bed with his family
This big boy loves attention and affection almost as much as he loves to go for walks and play with his family. Boscco’s size may make him look intimidating - but as is the traits of his breed, he is a loving boy who loves to be part of whatever is going on.
Neo's are also known to be intelligent and mild mannered who love to please their family and we can see all of these traits in Boscco. He enjoys to be out exploring the world and loves his walk. Boscco is great to walk and happy to go at what pace you set.
Boscco loves to play with other dogs and is currently in care with another male medium size breed and was living with a female dominate aussie bulldog previously – with no issues.
Boscco has also lived with a cat previously and no problems – he is even happy to sit and watch the birds eat his dry food.
Boscco is easily made happy – a quick ‘hey boy’, a cuddle or especially some play time will see this giant become a small pup, whilst he thinks he is teeny tiny we do suggest that he will need to be supervised around young kids if they are not used to big breeds.
Boscco is a picky eater but his foster mum has said he is happy to sample lots of different things to let her know what he does and doesn’t like.
Boscco is just snoozing waiting for his forever home

Adoption details
Paw Prints Canine Rescue is a non for profit dog rescue located in Southeast Queensland.
All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated).
Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.
Please note - we are not a pound or have kennels - all our dogs stay in foster carers homes and therefore dogs are not able to be simply viewed - only approved applicants will meet the dogs.

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
If applying to adopt one of our furbabies over the age of 6 months we recommend that you bring to the meet and greet any of your furbabies to see how they interact.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 2 week trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
