Boof is a loveable little boy ready to join a family. He has a playful spirit and would enjoy having school aged kids to run around with. Boof would not suit a home with kids under 8. Although he doesn't like to be picked up he will happily cuddle you in front of the TV. Boof does have some separation anxiety so would be best for a family where members spend most of their time at home or have the ability to take him along for adventures. He slowly getting used to other dogs, especially when on a lead but makes huge progress once he gets comfortable with his owners. Although Boof is a smaller size boy he does require a confident dog owner who is patient and willing to continue to give him time and training to settle and adjust. Due to the fact his elderly original owner passed away causing Boof a lot of stress we really want Boof to find a new home where he will have a stable environment for the rest of his life and experience no more trauma.
*Non-local adoptions: please keep in mind pet transport companies are currently closed or experiencing heavy delays due to having limited flight times with COVID-19 restrictions in place.
