About Shay
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the current coronavirus travel restrictions at the moment, the viewing of dogs cannot be arranged for those who live outside of the Sydney metropolitan area.
Shay is a standard poodle x rescued from a hoarding situation where she had lived her whole life. Shay had little interaction with humans, only at feeding time, so her only form of companionship were her canine friends. As a result of this need for her to be with another dog/s she will not, under any circumstances, be rehomed to a family who do not meet this requirement. She is extremely active and playful so her friend must be another young, confident, large breed dog who she can romp and play with. Because Shay was isolated from humans and the world outside her enclosure, she is very nervous of loud noises and boisterous activity. Her new home needs to be one of peace and tranquility with owners who are experienced with a dog like Shay, as well as, owners who can take her for long daily walks. Shay is housetrained and is good in the car. She walks perfectly on lead. If you would like to meet Shay please send us as much information as possible about your other dog, your home and work lifestyle.
