About Mickey
*In foster care in Rozelle, Sydney*
A sleepy lounge lizard with the sweetest little face, Mickey is hoping her wonderful new home is just around the corner!
Soft and gentle in nature, lovely Mickey can take some time to feel comfortable around new people. She's not a fan of loud noises either, so probably won't be the best choice for a home with young children or lots of day-to-day activity going on. Aside from this one requirement, she's a very independent and low-maintenance kitty who's more than happy to just do her own thing while you do yours :)
Like all Maggie's pets, Mickey is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will have lots of quiet nooks and crannies for me to retreat to when I need time to myself. I do enjoy the company of the special people in my life, so I'm looking forward to plenty of snuggles at night when you get home from work!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: While I get the zoomies now and then like any cat, I'm really just a big sleepyhead!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I'm super gentle as a rule, but I'm likely to get a bit grumpy if kids make a lot of noise or expect me to play with them. Older children who'll give me the space I need would likely be a good match!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I wouldn't mind a napping buddy of the feline kind! Definitely don't need a playmate though, those years of chasing and wrestling are behind me :) I haven't met any dogs since coming into foster care but a low-key, older dog who doesn't get in my face might be a nice friend to have!

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
