About Loki
⚡💛 LOKI 💛⚡
Introducing the handsome Loki, who is ready to find his furever home 🥰
Don’t let his name put you off, Loki is a gentle soul 💕 Being a Mastiff X, Loki is a large dog and would be best suited to a family with older children.
He is still a puppy at heart 🥰 but is not one to chew your furniture, he likes to collect sticks from the yard or chew his soft toys instead. He loves playing with the other doggos and gets along with them well. He’s also relatively cat friendly. Timid cats are interesting and fun to chase, but Loki is stopped in his tracks if the cat hisses and swipes at him 😂
After being starved, Loki was obsessed with food and so became overly excited when food was around. In the couple of months we’ve had him, Loki has learned to sit and be calmer at dinner time 😊 He is able to wait for a few seconds and once the bowl hits the floor, he’ll be there. He is also learning to leave the other dog bowls alone until they are finished. Loki has learnt to leave you alone when getting told with a gentle “away you go.”
Loki does get very excited at the prospect of a walk 😁 so if walking is your social distancing preference, Loki is the one for you. Loose lead walking is his speciality 💕
If you would love a gentle giant, who will follow you wherever you go, Loki is your man! If you are interested in meeting Loki, please message for an application 💝
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
3. The animal MUST NOT be taken on the day unless PRIOR APPROVAL seeked, we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
4. 14 day settling in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster carer.
5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
6. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until date of adoption. Inclusive of vaccinations, monthly worming and flea treatment. New owners are responsible for keeping preventatives current.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your email within 72 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: WE CAN NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW
