About Farley
Hello, I'm Farley. You might have noticed that one of my front legs is missing. I wonder where it went? I'm kidding of course, I know exactly what happened to it. The short story is that when I was in my previous home, I wasn't looked after properly. I became injured (most likely hit by car) and my leg was severely damaged. Not only was it broken, the nerves were damaged too and unfortunately, my owners didn't take me to the vet. Because of the nerve damage, my leg dragged along the ground. I couldn't control it. It rubbed on the ground so much that by the time I was rescued, half my foot had rubbed away! Don't feel bad for me though, I don't miss my leg at all. I hadn't been able to use it for years anyway. I can still run and climb and do all of the things that other dogs do. I can jump on the couch and even the bed if I am allowed! I am always first to line up for a treat too. I am great with other dogs and I am a great companion to my humans. Nobody believes that I am nearly 10 years old, most people are shocked when they find out. I am just like any other dog (but better) and I cant wait to find my new home. Are you my people? Love Farley xx PLEASE NOTE: This pet is located in Kingaroy.
