About Dottie
Miss Personality Plus!!
Dottie, Miss Dott, Dotterly, Dottie Long Legs, McDots & little miss as she is affectionately known is a typical exuberant, bouncy, joyful, hilarious, goofy and happy boxer. She gets smiles & pats everywhere she goes and almost gets offended if people don't stop to give her some loving.
Dottie is incredibly loyal and is never far from your side. She can sit, drop, walks well on a harness, is toilet trained, crate trained, food motivated, has a great recall and would do anything to please you.
Dottie loves toys, playing with her k9 siblings, following her foster mumma around, playing in the sprinkler or hose, showering with you, following you to the toilet, riding in the car, adventures and lots of loving.
She has been well socialized with a variety of different dogs and currently lives in a multi-pet house hold and loves the hustle and bustle that brings. She is fantastic with our cats and has a healthy respect for them. She is good around our horses and even our pet pig. Dottie's new home MUST HAVE ANOTHER DOG for companion ideally a medium/large male dog who will put up with her puppy antics, enjoy playing with her but also tell her off gently when she is too much. While Dottie is well socialized and has her basic obedience down pat her new owners must be committed to taking her to obedience training so she continues to be the best she can be. Dottie is a sassy little kid and will take a mile if you give an inch.
Dottie's loves all people, children included but would better suit a home with dog confident and respectful children over 5.
Dottie loves life and all it has to offer. She is looking for a family where dogs are their lives. Sunday sleep ins, cuddles on the couch, weekend getaways, long road trips, camping and those dog owners that spend all their spare time allowing their dogs to live their best lives. She loves sleeping in between her foster parents and snores the night away. She is looking to be included in everything and is not a garden ornament, if you won’t allow her to come in and out the house as she pleases then you are not the right home. If you are looking for an active, confident, happy go lucky pup to join your busy life and family Dottie is the perfect addition. Dottie’s new family must have her wanting for nothing, she is such a special kid.
Dottie has been hand raised by us since she was less then a day old. She has been loved adored, spoilt and treasured since the second she arrived in our care and we want nothing short of that in her new forever family.
If you can offer Dottie the perfect forever home please send us a description of your home & why you think your family would be perfect for her.
Please don’t be offended if your application isn’t shooting fireworks it’s probably not going to work. Dottie’s new home must be absolutely perfect. If you fail to read her profile, your enquiry tells us nothing about or you do not have another dog, please don’t expect a reply.

Our adoption process has 5 stages -
#1 A brief description of your home-
We ask that you send an inquiry with a brief description of the home that you can provide and why you think your home is suitable for the animal you are inquiring about.
Please note: if you do not send a brief description of the home that you can provide we will not continue with the adoption process
#2 Some questions-
You will receive an adoption application form within 24 hours of your inquiry being sent
#3 Photo's of your yard - Applicable for dogs only -
Please provide photos of your yard including sheltered area from sun and rain
#4 Meet & greet - With other dog/s if you have any -
You will receive an email within 72 hours of sending your application in which will let you know if your application has been successful. We will then organise a meet and greet.
*PLEASE NOTE*: Not all applications are successful. We aim to match our animals to their perfect homes, sometimes there are many homes suitable but unfortunately only one animal.
Organized MEET AND GREETS do not guarantee the adoption of our of our animals. Eden Ark have the final say in the meet and greet process, If we feel our animal will not suit your family the trial period will not go ahead.
#5 A 7 day trial period -
If your meet is successful we ask that you have everything ready to take your new family member home that day. if this isn't possible, prior arrangement MUST be made - please understand we are not in a position to hold animals for you. Meet and greets are on weekends only, unless prior arrangement has been made. Please note your meet and greet will be organised the first weekend available from an approved application, we try our best to accomodate but again we can not hold animals.
Adoption fee must be paid in cash on the day if your meet and greet is successful to start your 7 day trial period.
Once your 7 day trial period is complete,
Welcome to the Eden Ark Family!
