About Skie
I'm 11 years old but still full of energy. I will follow you everywhere just to be by your side. Whether you have been out for a few minutes or the whole day, I will greet you at the door the moment you arrive home.
I do not wish to share you with any other dogs.
I prefer not to have my face touched but do need my eyes cleaned so will require lots of patience to earn my trust. I require regular grooming to keep me looking this good.
But most of all I just want someone to call my own
Medical notes
Ski is a mostly healthy little girl with fairly normal medical issues for a senior dog.
She has dry eye and needs her eyes cleaned daily which isn’t her favourite thing, but her foster carer has been helping her to get used to it.
She has a very mild heart murmur and has had chest x-rays to make sure everything is ok, and she does not require heart medication. Ski also has mild patella luxation in both hind legs, but she shows no signs of lameness, so we would suggest keeping her on a joint support supplement such as Osteocare Joint Chews to support her legs and hopefully slow down the onset of arthritis as she ages.
She has recently had a dental and is up to date with C5 vaccination as well as flea, tick, intestinal and heart worm prevention.
