About Gibson (AKA Gibbs)
Gibson arrived into our care, a little bundle of bones, but still the biggest of his litter of 3! Although he had a little head start on his brothers, when we look back at his early photos, we are reminded of just how tiny and undernourished he was. But not anymore!! After some dedicated love and care, this little guy is ready and raring to go out into the world on his own.
Gibson is a beautiful little guy - so happy and outgoing. He definitely leads the way for his brother Marou - he is first everywhere but this could be based on a little bit of bravado. He is more of an act first and think later kinda guy! Gibson has a gorgeous nature and is kind to everyone. He LOVES people and in his recent interaction with other adult doggies is showing a sensible amount of care.
Gibson is affectionate and loves to cuddle and smooch. He is always the one laying a protective paw across his brother while they sleep. And he is the first up and ready for food, action, play, pretty much anything really!! He does this ridiculously cute little jaw jitter when he is excited, making him pretty much THE cutest doggy to have ever walked the planet!
We aren't sure of Gibson's breed but we think he is an American Staffordshire Terrier - possibly crossed with a little something else. Gibson arrived into our care at approximately 6-7 weeks of age and weighing in at 2.3kg. He is now approximately 14 weeks of age and weighs a healthy 7kg.
He and his brother, Marou, spend their days wrestling, exploring, playing chase, eating and sleeping. They still have very good appetites and have just gone through another upward growth spurt. They have recently started walking on lead and are doing extremely well.
Gibson has a beautiful personality and would suit a home where he will be a part of the family, included in outings and activities. Being as outgoing and loving as he is, he will need affection, interaction, and stimulation - so will do best with company, both human and K9.
