About Maeve (In Foster)
Hello, I’m Maeve! I arrived at Greyhound Rescue just after my seventh birthday, and I can’t think of a better birthday present really – apart from finding my forever home, that is!
I’m a quiet but friendly girl with a taste for the finer things in life. As you can see, I love a nice comfy spot where I can roach to my heart’s content, so I’m hoping my new home has lots of plush beds where I can chill out all I like. Once I find a comfy position, I’m happy to stay there for hours, so I think I’d be fine with apartment living or some humans who work full time. I don’t mind other dogs as long as they’re respectful of my space, but I think I’d be happiest as a solo dog or perhaps with a chilled out older pooch.
What do you say, are you willing to be my human subjects? I’ll reward you with so much love!

Adoption details
We will send you an application form to complete and return. Then we will arrange a house check. It is important that the right hound goes to the right home! We can arrange for you to meet the dog/s and they can meet your family and/or other pets. Our hounds go “on trial” with your family for a minimum of 2 weeks. We have dogs that are small dog and cat friendly.
We expect greyhounds to be 'indoor dogs' and not left alone for long periods of time. Ideally they would have a doggy or human friend for company most of the time.
