About Sylvia
Hi, I’m Sylvia! I’m an older gal who’s lucky enough to be living it up in foster care while I wait to find my forever home, and so far pet life has been greyt!
I’m a very sweet and polite girl, and I don’t ask too much for my forever home – just as long as it has lots of nice comfy beds where I can lay my head, and some humans who will give me all the pats I can ask for. I’m quite happy just chilling out and I don’t mind sharing my home with another greyhound either!
I’m very inquisitive and love exploring and sniffing out new things, so I’d love if my new family can keep my nose busy with some enrichment treats and interesting walks… that would make me so happy!
A note from Sylvia’s foster carer:
Sylvia is doing really well. She is fast up and down the stairs. Very inquisitive and a bit of a bench surfer. She loves a couch (der!), and is getting along well with her foster brother. She’s eating voraciously. She has a gorgeous fluffy face that makes her look like a soft toy.

Adoption details
We will send you an application form to complete and return. Then we will arrange a house check. It is important that the right hound goes to the right home! We can arrange for you to meet the dog/s and they can meet your family and/or other pets. Our hounds go “on trial” with your family for a minimum of 2 weeks. We have dogs that are small dog and cat friendly.
We expect greyhounds to be 'indoor dogs' and not left alone for long periods of time. Ideally they would have a doggy or human friend for company most of the time.
