About Mia DL2380
Mia the cuddle monster is looking for a nice quiet home.
Although she is good with other dogs, Mia currently needs a home where she is the only dog, so that she can recover without running around. She is crate trained and happy to be in her safe place to rest.
Such a sweet girl, Mia loves to cuddle up on the couch with you. She isn't a fan of loud noises or unexpected movements, but she sure loves giving kisses. She has previously lived with kids, though would be best suited to older ones. She likes getting out to sniff around, so you'll need good arm strength to walk this big boofa.
Mia loves car rides and swimming. She will play with the water coming out of the hose while you’re trying to water the garden, making it a very entertaining chore. A smart girl, she knows cues like: Sit, lay down, rollover, get off, wait, paw, leave it, come, in the car, go to the toilet.
Mia is looking for a foster home or could also be fostered with the view to adopt. If you'd love to help Mia into a home, email DFLrescue@gmail.com today to apply.
Medical notes
Mia has a limp which is being investigated by our vet. She has mild arthritis in her left knee, though may also have a partial rupture of her cruciate ligament. She is taking pain relief and anti-inflammatory medication, however if there is no improvement, surgery may be required. While she is in foster care, the cost of Mia's necessary vet work is covered by DFL.
