About Panda Haberkorn
Victorian Dog Rescue has a six-week full refund policy and a lifetime takeback guarantee that includes 50 per cent of the adoption fee refunded.
Panda Haberkorn is an affectionate boy and absolute purr machine who has
sadly found himself without a home through no fault of his own. He has
been a well looked after and much loved pet who is now looking for his
second chance at life with you.
Panda seems happy as an only inside cat, but loves your company and
knowing that you are near. He follows you around and will meow for you
when you are in another room and he cannot see you. He also has an
independent streak and happily sleeps alone until morning when he he is
ready for his cuddles and a feed. Panda would also cope well if left
alone during the day as long as he gets some attention when you return home.
Panda is a curious boy at heart and loves to observe the world around
him. He regularly enjoys sitting up on furniture so he can see what is
going on outside – a little like watching television. Panda is nervous
when meeting strangers for the first time and goes into hiding, but
after only a few minutes comes back out to give the new person a good
sniff and to ask for pats.
Panda likes to play for short bursts of time, and enjoys being groomed.
He is very easy to care for. This absolutely adorable boy’s needs are
few – water, food, and you.
Thank you to Lyndsay of Paw Focus Photography for the fantastic photos of Panda.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adopters’ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
