About Sanka
Sanka is a very excitable, lovable, intelligent young boy.
Although Sanka thrives on attention and loves to be close to his human foster family, he is also happy to spend several hours outside with multi-interactive challenging toys. These toys must be sturdy to survive his chewing.
Toilet-training was a natural to him, with only two accidents when he first arrived in foster care, which is expected. His foster Mum has already taught this beautiful boy to stay out of the kitchen establishing boundaries with him as well as teaching him to sit and wait at open doors. He is a very clever boy! He also knows to sit, stay and shake hands.
He is currently learning on-lead manners and is doing great! He loves to sniff and explore on his walks and will sometimes still pull to do this. He is completely unresponsive to other dogs on walks other than a friendly greeting when passing by.
Sanka will need a loving person/family who will enjoy playing with him and taking him on long walks. As he is quite a big boy, he will need solid fences 6ft high. He's not suitable for young children as he can still get excitable and may knock them over.
He is currently untested living with other dogs but has proved extremely friendly during passing encounters on walks. He is not cat friendly.
With continued training he will make you very happy and will be a very loving, loyal extension to your family. This big baby will keep you company with warm snuggles as he gently suckles at your fingers like a dummy! If it's love your looking for Sanka is your boy!
