About Luna ~ lovely 5yo Staffy x (On Trial 18/1/10)
Why Hello! My name is Luna and I am a beautiful 5 year old staffy x lady of medium size (let’s say around 20kg). Through no fault of my own Dog Rescue Newcastle are helping my current owners find me the perfect new family.
I can be a little bit unsure of new dogs at first but after a bit of a sniff meeting you I soon settle and show my playful side. Don’t let my age fool you, I still have heaps energy and love to play, so would be best suited to a household without children under 5 years old.
I am a playful, affectionate and friendly girl. I love to play, I would love to go to a home with another dog for company who I can play with while you are away. It would have to be the right match for me though and a proper introduction will be essential to make sure I feel comfortable.
I know my basic commands, but could do with a bit more training, particularly in discouraging me to jump up. I also need someone committed to daily exercise as this would help me settle and who could blame a girl for wanting a daily adventure. I am toilet trained and currently sleep inside and that would have to continue in my new home.
Melissa is helping my owners find me the perfect new family. To express your interest in adopting or meeting me, please complete the adoption questionnaire available at the link below, so Melissa can see if we are a match - https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
Melissa can also be contacted at melissapollo64@gmail.com for any questions.
My adoption fee is $300 and if you are ready, I’m ready. I am already desexed, microchipped and registered, vaccinations up to date and treated for fleas and worms.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal cheques.
