About Rupert Rhodes ~ Border Collie x (on trial 24/11/19
Hey, look at me! I'm Rupert Rhodes - a sweet Border Collie x puppy. Aren’t I the most gorgeous little scruff ball you’ve ever seen?
Don’t let my good looks fool you – I’m a really clever boy too who has so much love to give. My foster mum dad and kids absolutely adore me, even the cranky old dog that I live with lets me snuggle in with her.
I’ve been living with my foster family for a few weeks now and have settled right in. I’m currently living with my brother, sister and 4 bigger dogs. There are also 2 young kids and chickens living here too.
I love walking down to the chicken run of a morning right on my foster mum's heels so I can make sure those funny feathery things are behaving. Playing with my fur friends also makes me really happy so my ideal family will have another dog who has lots of energy to help me burn off mine. I’d really like the people to be very active too and take me on lots of walks and adventures. My foster mum is convinced that with some training I’ll be the most loyal and well behaved puppy a family can have.
Rupert will grow up to be a medium dog. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training. It would also be good if someone in the household doesn't work full time.
Rupert needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. He will be a wonderful family dog and is suitable for children 7 years and older. You need good fencing with no small gaps. He can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).
As Rupert is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he's approximately 5 months old.
Rupert's siblings: Pepper Potts and Tony Stark are also available for adoption.
For more information or to meet Rupert, please contact Beth on 0423 422 783 or email Beth_73@bigpond.net.au . Rupert is in the Lake Macquarie area, NSW (south of Newcastle. You can also fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
Rupert's adoption fee is $550 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and he's been treated for fleas and worms.
Medical notes
As Rupert is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he's approximately 5 months old.

(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
