About Lucy
All About Me and My Unique Personality:
Lucy is a very smoochy cat who has raised four kittens and is now ready to move onto the next stage of her life and find a perfect home that will lavish her with the attention she craves. She is still young and loves playing with toys, her favorite is the birdie on a string and she is quite the athlete when flying around the room after it.
My Ideal Home:
Lucy will need a home where her family welcome an active and playful cat as opposed to a couch potato :-) She will need to be kept indoors to protect the native wildlife and ensure she never strays and finds herself at risk of harm.
What is Known About My Background:
Lucy was placed in the Pound overnight bin with her four kittens and was understandably very agitated and distressed when she came into foster care. Her low growl quickly turned into purring as she settled into her new foster home with the peace and security to rear her kittens.
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets:
Lucy has been focused on her kittens and when faced with other cats and dogs she does become something of a tigress wanting to charge at them with a bit of a hissy fit.
Once desexed (in the next week or so) she may well settle and not appear so protective. However, she may actually be simply wanting to be the centre of someone's attention and who can blame her.
