About Milo
Milo is a 12 year old maltese x shitzu. He has the sweetest nature and deserves the very best home
Milo was surrendered as his elderly owner broke her hip and couldnt manage to look after him Prior to that Milos owner did suffer some dementia and Milo was not treated as well as he should have been
Despite all that he is a beautiful lovely fellow . He is currently living with 5 other dogs , male and female large and small.. Milo isnt a demanding little dog and gets along with everyone
He gets on very well with other dogs. He looks great for his age . He had a dental earlier this year and a makeover at K9Country Grooming Salon and he looks and feels wonderful. Milo has a grade 3 heart murmur which is very common in older maltese, but he is very active and requires no medication at the moment
If you would like to apply for Milo please email for an adoption application form
Milo will stay with us until the perfect home is found for him. We dont feel he will be suitable for small children as he hasnt lived with them . We want him to have another dog for company and we are looking for homes where he will be inside with access to outside and not be left all day while people are at work
Medical notes
healthy and recently had a dental recently and has a grade 3 heart murmur, but does not require medication
Adoption details
We require an initial application over the phone or in writing and then if a dog seems a match we can arrange a meet and greet at a local park or the foster carers home. If the meet is successful we then arrange a yard check and if that is satisfactory we require full payment on picking up the dog.
We then give a 2 week trial and if in that time it is not working we will refund all but $50 for admin costs. We also require that the adopter returns our dogs back to us at any time in its lifetime (without a refund) for us to rehome.
