Dixie is tall, dark, and handsome, with the most expressive puppy-dog eyes you’ll ever see!
Dixie is incredibly affectionate, to the point that he almost goes into a trance when you start petting him! He’s settled very well into pet life and will happily dance about when you get home and at dinner and walk time! When Dixie first arrived, he made quick work of hoarding all of the dog toys and he’s always keen for a good play.
Dixie has no problem letting visitors know that he’s friendly and wants a cuddle; he’s never met a person he hasn’t loved. What he doesn’t love are storms, fireworks or other loud sudden noises, so he’ll need a little hidey hole if his owners aren’t home.
Dixie is toilet trained and learned the stairs very quickly. He may be a little boisterous for little kids, but he is safe to be around them (although he will lick them!)
He is fine with larger dogs, but not smaller dogs or cats. He’s easy to control on the lead, and really enjoys his daily 20-minute walk. Dixie has been a treat to foster and will make his forever family very happy!
