About Dobermann 1905220514
This young lady is from a registered breeder she is DCM 1 & DCM 2 and vWD, negative. Although she has no experience with young children she is prone to wanting cuddles, and in and amongst children supervision and training would be needed as she is only 2 yr old.
She does have a prey drive and would only be adopted to a house with no cats although she had cat experience when a puppy, we are not certain she remembers this with her developed prey drive.
Not really interested in the sheep or other livestock animals.
She is an outside/inside girl, while fine outside she would need to be crated inside at night until she finds her feet in the routine set by NHFD and the new family, this is a process we install in new homes for the comfort of the Dobermann who is currently crated, and it's her comfort place.
She is available to interstate adoptions.
Her diet is a raw food diet only with a small amount of dry food (meals for mutts or frontier pets only - NHFD prerequisite). Supplements for all Dobermanns are pernaese powder, fish oil, vit E, olive oil, golden paste.
Her activities include a great enjoyment interaction through obedience training or play, and she loves to experience social activities outside the home, although she is a homebody her mental stimulation is paramount and socializing will be a part of her adoption contract.
She shows new experiences are more important than treats and loves to learn and has a lovely habit of wanting to sit high in park benches etc. to see further than her small frame will allow.
She rides well in the car, and is a complete velcro dog, has limited experience with dogs of other breeds, but loves other Dobermanns and is warmly encouraged if you have a male Dobermann looking for a friend then this girl is it.
Her personality is that she takes a while to warm to people who are not used to the European aloofness, which morphs into unabashed love, she has a big heart.
She doesn't pull on the lead and is happy to learn new things, experiences and places in the safety of her people. She's a lot of fun and a sweetheart and loves her blankets and is quite fond of harboring as many as she is allowed :).
She loves to interact with her people.
Medical notes
No known medical issues, this girl comes from a long line of healthy parentage without the typical Dobermann diseases.
Adoption details
We always correspond with an adoption form first, which requires pictures of the home's fences, and areas the dog will be contained.
We follow up with a phone call, to discuss your application and build a relationship with you so we get to know your needs and that of the Dobermann we may have in mind for your situation.
We will do a home check before we approve the adoption and a second phone call/facetime to finalize any outstanding questions you or we may have.
We will ask for your vet's name and contact details as a reference.
Once we approve the adoption, the fee is paid, and we generate the paperwork in compliance with local councils and registration pertinent to each state where the approved home is.
We do not home Dobermanns with same-sex dogs already present in homes, unless the particular Dobermann has shown the ability to be open to it. Meet and Greets are paramount for all Dobermanns with existing pets, and people who reside in the house.
