About Chanel
All About Me and My Unique Personality:
Chanel has a very sweet and caring temperament. She likes to chase toys and enjoys the company of other cats and people. Chanel is a quiet girl who can be quite shy at first, but once she warms up to you (within a day or two) she is very loving. Chanel likes to sleep on the bed at night, loves rolling around in the sunshine and lots of pats and tickles. She gets spooked by loud noises but is not aggressive or snarly at all. Chanel is a very little cat and has a beautiful, shiny black coat.
My Ideal Home:
Chanel would be a perfect cat for a quieter home where she could get lots of one on one attention. She would suit a household with another cat, but mostly would just like to have some company. As Chanel is quiet and a bit shy, she would not suit a household with young children or boisterous dogs. She would thrive in a home where she would be treated like a princess and be allowed to sleep with her humans.
What is Known About My Background:
Chanel came from the RSPCA and had given birth to three kittens. Chanel had cat flu when she came into care, and unfortunately her kittens contracted the virus and were too young to fight it off so they sadly passed away at 10 days old. Because of this, Chanel is still mourning the loss of her kittens so she needs a home where her family would be gentle and loving. Chanel is a bit frightened of loud noises and flashlights.
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets:
Chanel gets along great with other cats. When she came into care with her kittens, she was not aggressive or overly protective and allowed the 5 other cats in the house to approach her and her kittens without much fuss. She enjoys the company of other cats and would have no trouble fitting in to a multi cat household. Chanel is in care with 2 labradors who are kept separately, however when she sees or hears them she gets spooked and hisses. She may be able overcome this with time, but she would need to be properly introduced.
