About Piper
Meet Piper, a beautiful old soul who has had a rough start to life. Piper has been through many homes and is looking for her one and only, could that be you?
Piper loves her humans so much that she would prefer to be the only pet so that she gets all your love--but may be okay with a relaxed older male dog. She is a little too keen on cats and pocket pets so it would be best that Pipers new digs don't have any.
Piper is looking for somebody who is home more often than not- maybe a house with teens coming or going, somebody who works from home, or even a part time worker! She does well left alone for short periods, especially with a Kong or puzzle toy (she loves food!) indoors where she can relax on the couch, but can get a little stressed if she is alone for longer stretches. Even better if you'd like to take her with you - she loves the car and is very quiet and relaxed in an office setting!
Piper loves long walks on the beach, a snuggle on the couch, or just to listen to all your thoughts. She would do best with children who are a little older as to not accidentally knock them over!
Are you looking for a calm lady with a gentle demeanor? Piper's your gal. Though she does have moments of zoomies, she is generally well behaved and settles well.
If you're keen to meet Piper, Send us an email to make a time for a meet and greet!
Medical notes
Piper has environmental allergies that are well controlled by a monthly injection of Cytopoint.
Piper has been wearing an Adaptil collar to help her when her humans are out of the house.
Piper comes chipped, desexed, wormed and flead.
