About Luna ๐
Introducing Luna, our gorgeous little Cattle x Kelpie girl.....A playful and fearless soul that adores her humans. She loves playing with her doggie friends, although can be quite bossy as she is the biggest of the 3 in her foster home.
Luna is 1 of 6 pups who arrived in care at the age of 6 weeks. She is currently in care with 2 of her siblings and has an older host dog and 2 young children in her foster home. She is great with the kids and loves to play with them, but can get a little rough (being the bossy boots). Luna is quite a vocal little girl and grunts and groans when excited! She may also see herself as a princess and expect your attention to be focused on her at times. She is proving to be quite a clever little pup though, and has learnt to sit on command and has amazing recall for just 9 weeks of age.
This little diva also loves to eat. She has shown no food aggression while in care, but is bossy towards her brother and sister. Luna loves playing Tug-o-war or chasing the ball around. She also just happy to follow her people around. Luna currently sleeps in her kennel with her siblings and is happy to be there as long as she has company.
As with all our pups, we strongly recommend enrolling in Puppy school. Luna will need continued socialisation with other dogs during the puppy stage and into adulthood, as well as ongoing training so that she grows up to be a well mannered and socialised girl. We believe that she will be a medium size dog when fully grown. She is a beautiful natured puppy, and given the right environment weโre sure she will grow to be an extremely loyal, well mannered adult.
We would love to help get you started with training, so our amazing supporters, Best Friends - Erina, have kindly offered to include a 5 week Puppy training course with all of our Puppy adoptions (up to 16wks of age)....The Best Friends Puppy Pre-School service is a fun and interactive five-week training course that covers puppy behaviours, diet, health, grooming, exercise and play, with an emphasis on socialisation, command training, health and care. Their aim is to teach you positive ways to train your puppy in basic skills such as โsitโ, โdropโ, โstayโ, and how to walk well on a lead, but also how to control your puppyโs not so desirable behaviours like toileting inside, biting, mouthing and separation anxiety.
Luna would be best suited to a home or property with another doggie companion or multiple dog home as she really does need the socialisation with older dogs and to learn her place in the pack. She will need an active family who have experience and knowledge of the working dog breeds with a medium to large yard and secure height appropriate fencing.
Vet work will be complete on the 23rd October and she will be ready to head off to her forever home on the 25th October....we are happy to organise meets prior to this but she will need to remain in care until all vet work is complete. He is located in East Gosford on the Central Coast NSW.

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
