About Arty
Gorgeous Arty.
Do you have:
A large property for a happy, energetic boy? An energetic dog of similar size and breed that will happily welcome a canine companion into his/her home? An active lifestyle to keep a smart dog stimulated and enthusiastic about his new lifestyle? If you answered yes to these questions, Arty could be the perfect new addition to your family!
Arty is a clever, happy, adorable Cattle Dog x who wants to be wherever his important friends are. He enjoys doing whatever they are doing. He is a very affectionate boy.
Not short on stamina for those fun walks and runs, Arty is also happy to calm down at home when told to. He loves to puppy pile on top of other dogs when he’s ready to sleep and will beg them to play when he is awake.
Arty loves to play with other dogs and enjoys the occasional wrestling match with his doggy friends. A young, desexed canine companion in his new home would need to be willing to participate in his games. Human and canine company will be a must for this boy.
Arty is a fast learner and enjoys working, training and playing games. He is well-behaved around cats, and okay around chickens when there is a fence between him and them. He has also shown himself to be good around kids.
Whilst he is toilet trained, he would benefit from having access to a doggy door. He is crate trained for overnight sleeping, and leash trained. Arty will bark when left outside by himself, and whilst he has improved with training, it is still a work in progress.
Arty will benefit from further training, agility to help him keep his active mind busy. Regular stimulation and exercise will be important to help him continue learning structure, routine and most of all what his family are asking of him. He aims to please and will always try and do the right thing.
If you think Arty would be very happy in your home, we look forward to hearing from you.

Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
