About Buster
Have you met Buster?
Buster's foster mum has so many wonderful thing to say about him! He is only young and is proving every day that he is super smart, very gentle, eager to please and is a fast learner. She has so many positive things to say about this gorgeous boy that is definitely sounds like his new family will be extremely lucky to have him.
Since coming into care, Buster has met many other dogs. He has always had a canine companion in his life and has shown that he completely adores their company, he is very respectful of dogs of all sizes but will need a home with a dog of similar size and energy levels that will have the stamina to keep up with this active young man.
Buster gets bored easily so he will only be suited to a homewith a suitable desexed canine companion.
Social outings and daily exercise will be essential for Buster's mental development. He walks great with his head halti and stays tuned in to his special person even when there are a lot of distractions. He does his best to listen and will happily sit, stay and come when asked.
Buster enjoys his trips to the park, loves playing fetch and is always eager to learn new tricks.
Buster has always has the opportunity to spend time indoors and has always been lucky enough to have a warm bed indoors overnight. He is toilet trained and does try to be on his best behaviour when he is indoors.
Being young, Buster sometimes forgets his manners and will sneak up on the bench to see if any food has been left out by his kind humans. His foster carer pulls him up on this and he is learning that it is not acceptable.
While he has been in care, Buster has been living with a cat but they have been separated due to his desire to chase his fluffy housemate. For this reason, Buster will only be matched to a home with NO CATS.
Buster can be a little bouncy when he gets excited so a home with children aged 10+ will be most suitable.
As shown in the attached video, Buster brilliant at waiting for food and will always wait (and sometimes drool hahaha) until you say 'ok'.
Buster is a charming young man and we know that if/when he is given the chance, he will show his new family what a very special boy he really is.
Currently in care in Norlane, Geelong.

Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
