On Hold
Spirit lives true to her name. Having a rough start to life Spirit has needed some special care and attention to help build her trust in humans. Every day Spirit makes improvements but this special care will need to be continued in her forever home.
Spirit is looking for a patient, caring and loving human who understands her needs. A calm and quiet home is a must as too is another cat social cat for Spirit to feel safe with. She bonds quickly to other cats and loves to play which in turn gradually helps her confidence around her humans. Wand toys and tunnels are also a favourite of hers which helps her to bond and create a positive connection.
Spirit will need a small launch room at minimum where she can spend time with her kitty friend and slowly settle into her new surroundings. Interactions will need to be slow and gradual so she can feel safe with her new humans.
Children and dogs are far too scary for Spirit so she would like a home without either. Teens who are gentle, calm and respectful could build a strong bond with her and really help her out.
**SPIRIT IS NOT AT THE SHELTER** She is in foster care. If you would like to meet her, please email adoptfromfoster@rspcaqld.org.au and the team will help organise a time to meet.
