About Harley
No other dogs due to high energy level and toy obsession.
No to cats.
Hi my name is Harley, sadly I need a new home due to family circumstances changing.
I’m full of energy and more like a 2 year old than a 9 year old, I have pedigree papers, I know how to sit and drop but was too excited to show my drop whilst my behavioural assessment was being done.
My test report states ‘Harley has energy and drive in spades for his age. Not recommended for anyone looking for a calm, lazy dog. This is not that dog!’
I told you I act more like a 2 year old and some people say 9 is too old, not for this boy! lol
I walk well on the lead but will pull if you let me, I’m good in the car, I take food gently, I shake hands, give the ball back, I know to go to bed when you tell me, I love my cuddles and walks, I’ve lived with young children up to the age of 4 and don’t jump up on them, I’m house trained and even though I get along with other dogs I’m far too full of energy to live with one, the other dog could read me the wrong way. I’m scared of thunder, lightening & fireworks so would need to be inside if there is a storm or on News Years eve, I will try to escape if not with someone.
I just love hanging out with my family, I’ve always had someone around during the day so wouldn’t cope with being left alone all day.
So if you think you can offer me a good forever home where you’ll be able to give me all the above in return I will give you all the love and loyalty you could ask for!
Please go to Stafford Rescue Victoria’s website where you will find the Adoption Application.

Adoption details
If you think you can offer me a forever home please go to
http://www.staffordrescuevictoria.org.au/index.php/adoption-forms-6
and fill out the Adoption Request Form. You will receive an email acknowledgement within 3 days. If you do not receive any further contact after this please do not be discouraged. It just means that a suitable application was received before yours. We encourage you to contact Jan at jan.hutton@optusnet.com.au every week to show you are still interested in adopting. As we will already have your form on file it will fast track the process when a suitable dog does become available.
Adopt one of our dogs and we are there for you for the rest of the dog's life. If you find you and the dog are not suited it is a condition of sale that the dog comes back to Stafford Rescue.
