About Roxy - 46802
Roxy is a gentle natured girl who becomes overwhelmed and frightens quite easily when exposed to new people and experiences, so a calm, patient and understanding home is a must. Despite her age, Roxy is extremely low maintenance and would love nothing more than to curl up at your feet, by the fire and sleep the day away. She does love her walks though, she walks great on lead and requires management when meeting new dogs to encourage calm behaviour and appropriate doggy manners as Roxy over excites easily. Roxy may be suitable with another well matched, calmer male friend and is great with dog social cats. Roxy has early signs of osteoarthritis, and will require on-going management including daily application of pernaease powder (on food) or similar supplement to aid in joint support/health and alleviate pain. Roxy would benefit in a home with no kids, someone who is home more often than not as she doesn't cope being on her own for long periods of time and indoor access is a must, especially at night to provide comfort from cold and symptoms associated with osteoarthritis. (yes she is toilet trained!).
