About Meera💜
***PLEASE
READ FULL DESCRIPTION BEFORE APPLYING***
Meera is one of our cattle dog x foster litter and has met cats, chickens, ducks and dogs of all sizes. Meera and her siblings came from a farm where they were unwanted.
The pups have started crate training, have started on toilet training and respond to “pup pup pup” so they are ready to name.
They all sleep inside and as they are so young, they would much prefer to stay around you and whatever you’re doing. This litter has spent quite a lot of time exploring outside at their foster home and are confident and friendly with chickens. Continued positive experiences and exposure to chickens while young would be required for them to remain friendly with poultry due to their breed.
These cattle dog x pups will need lots of stimulation, enrichment and training due to their breed mix and will not be suitable to be left alone in a backyard most days.
The pups have had their first vaccinations, are microchipped and desexed.
Puppy school would be required for them to continue their socialisation and then obedience school, training classes, at-home trainer etc will help them build and develop their skills and knowledge to be the best doggy family member they can be.
MEERA NEEDS FROM HER HOME
- continued socialisation while young with as many different kinds of people and animals as possible ✔️
- continued and consistent obedience training (five minutes a day is great!) ✔️
- to be able to sleep inside, be on the couch with her family & maybe sleep on the bed once her toilet training is finished ✔️
- a companion ✔️ Someone who works from home or can take Gilly to work would be ideal if there isn’t another dog in the household. Dogs are social animals like us humans and usually don’t like to spend all day alone
- lots of time & room to play and run ✔️ Whether that means acerage, a big backyard or daily trips to large, offleash areas
- a forever home that will promise to love & care for her for the rest of her life ✔️
Gilly is located in Lara, VIC and a meet and greet is essential
If you meet these requirements & think you could have the perfect home for Meera, please send a message with details of:
•your home
• your backyard and fencing
•family members / how often you are home
•current or past relevant pets
• your animal experience or anything else relevant you can think of
Due to the high volume of applications for puppies plus all the time it takes to care and raise them- we’re sorry but only successful applicants will be contacted.
Medical notes
All animals are microchipped, desexed, vaccinated, treated and protected against fleas
& intestinal worms.
