About AC1099 - Jaquita
🎀🎀🎀Quiet shy girl seeks quiet loving forever home🎀🎀🎀
Meet stunning girl Jaquita the Burmilla!
Jaquita is a gentle, mature lady who enjoys a loving pat. Most of all, Jaquita lurvvvvs a warm snuggly bed 💜
Despite her exotic breed, Jaquita did not have the best start to life, and has had less than the usual loving interactions from humans. She came into rescue very unsure of the world around her. Let’s face it we all get a bit overwhelmed with the big wide world sometimes, so imagine being a teeny kitty cat!
Jaquita has come along nicely in her foster home, but it’s time now for her to find her own forever home, where she can settle with her forever humans and feel loved and cared for, like every kitty deserves.
Jaquita would do well in a quiet home with older children, and a family who will take the time to get to know her, and give her all the time and patience she needs to get to know you. We aren’t sure how Jaquita would go with dogs.
If you think you have room in your heart and your home to make Jaquita’s dreams come true, we would love to hear from you so we can tell her the good news!
If you would like to meet Jaquita please fill in this adoption application form http://j.mp/Adoptionforms Or email adoptionpra@outlook.com.au

165 - Jaquita
Gender: Female
Breed: Burmilla
Colour: Choc Tipped
DOB: 14/12/2010
Adoption Fee: $160
*Jaquita’s adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, vaccination, microchip, flea and worm treatment*
Medical Notes: Jaquita has flea allergy dermatitis which results in a severe reaction to even a single fleabite. The most important treatment is to prevent fleabites with standard monthly flea preventative products.
Jaquita had Calicivirus, which is a respiratory infection. She did not need treatment for this and was given the all clear by the vet. Jaquita has epiphora which means an overflow of tears from the eyes. It is a symptom rather than a specific disease and is associated with a variety of conditions, in this case likely due to cat flu. Normally, a thin film of tears is produced to lubricate the eyes and the excess fluid drains into the nasolacrimal ducts, or tear ducts, which are located in the corner of the eye next to the nose. The nasolacrimal ducts drain tears into the back of the nose and the throat. Epiphora is most commonly associated with insufficient drainage of the tear film from the eye. Most cats with epiphora will experience intermittent episodes throughout their life and it is likely that some degree of epiphora will persist despite all treatment efforts.
