Hi, I’m Luna. Don’t let my size fool you, I am a gentle giant who is extremely trusting of people, dogs, cats and I just love children.
When I first meet people, I am very quiet and don’t like to speak but once I feel safe and settled you’ll hear me when someone comes close to the fence or enters the yard. I’m not a big barker but will let you know when It’s important.
I went to a home without another dog recently, but that wasn’t my thing. So instead of keeping me when I wasn’t living my best life, the nice people brought me back here so I can find a home with another doggy friend.
I’m not a destructive chewer, but I do like to move things around. I have been enjoying Turkey necks and marrow bones, these are deeelish! I’m always down for a ride in the car, I love a trip to Bunnings and have been around the town meeting people at pet friendly café’s. Leftovers are the best!
I have a wee condition that requires me to have regular medication once to twice a week. Without this treatment I have involuntary leaking (bladder leakage) but with medication this seems to be under control. My vet believes it may be an unfortunate side effect of the operation when I was desexed. Don’t let this scare you, it doesn’t bother me and as long as my medication is administered it isn’t a problem. I am very compliant and take my tablet without a scene, just make sure you wrap it in a piece of meat or give it to me with my food.
