About AU0016 - Berenice
~*FOSTER VIEW TO ADOPT*~
💖INTRODUCING BERENICE💖
Hey there hoomans. I’m Berenice. My foster mum calls me a ‘good sort’. She rescued me from the streets while I was pregnant and unwell. I’m all good now, except for a runny nose that seems to confound the hoomans.
I’ve lost track of how long I’ve been in care. It’s got to be a couple of years now. I don’t mind living with my foster family, but sometimes I get a bit frustrated that I have to compete for attention. You see, I’m a lover not a fighter. I love everyone! When I’m not getting pats and scratches, I’m dreaming about getting pats and scratches. My foster mum says I have stalker eyes, but I’m just looking out for a sign that I can jump down from my perch for some pats and scratches.
Being a lass from the streets, I used to be apprehensive about new faces, but I’m cool with hoomans now. I’m usually the first to come out for pats and scratches when someone comes to visit. I mean, if pats and scratches are on offer, I’m up for it!
You may need to give me a little time to find my paws in a new home, but I promise I’ll soon incorporate you into my circle of love.

AU0016 - Berenice
Gender: Female
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Colour: Tawny
DOB: 12/12/2014
Adoption Fee: $100
*Berenice’s adoption fee includes vet check, sterilization, vaccination, microchip, flea and worm treatment*
Medical Notes: FIV and Leukaemia negative. Berenice previously had an infection of Mycoplasma Felis which is a bacteria that can cause mucopurulent conjunctivitis and upper respiratory infection. Berenice still suffers from a runny nose, however, she is otherwise healthy. It is important Berenice goes to a nice quiet home to reduce her stress. We are hoping in doing so (as she gets more comfortable around humans and her environment) her symptoms will subside.
Berenice was exposed to Ringworm, which is a common fungal infection. She did not show symptoms and was given the all clear by the vet.
