About Chipolata
Chip is a social, enthusiastic little girl. Surrendered at just hours old, Chip has been hand raised and thoroughly spoilt. She steals the heart of everyone she meets, and loves to make new friends.
Chipolata lives up to her name – she is small and spicy. Her sass and stubbornness has helped her through some health scares, beating the odds more than once. Now that she is older nothing slows her down, and she bounces through life with glee.
Being hand raised, Chip is quite dependent on her humans and doggie friends. She must have another dog in the home, as she will fret without a playmate. Applications without another dog (desexed male please!) will not be considered. This is for her overall health and happiness. She loves to play, and is quite feisty when she does, so her playmate will need to be able to keep up! A typical Frenchie, she is stubborn and a little pig headed, but so very affectionate. She loves to barrel around the house playing like a maniac, and then will demand to come up on to the couch for snuggles and a good Netflix binge.
Chip has not grown up with children, however has spent time with older children. Due to this we would be comfortable placing her in a home with children 8 years and over. She lives with cats, however can be too enthusiastic for cats if they are not used to this. She will expect to be a mainly inside dog, with access to outside for toileting and sunbaking. She is happiest in her human’s lap, or curled up sharing a bed with her doggie friends. Sharing is caring with Chip, unless it’s food, and then she’d like hers plus yours plus everyone else's thank you very much! She is a little piggie, and due to this she is fed separately to the other dogs to prevent her getting too round. Being overweight is a serious health issue in dogs.
If you are ready for a tiny pocket rocket who rules her kingdom with sass and clumsiness, Chippie is now accepting servant applications.
Chippie is located in Sippy Downs, QLD.

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. To meet, adopt or find out more details on this animal, please fill in our adoption application at our website- http://www.safehavenanimalrescueinc.com Completing this application form does not place you under any obligation to adopt.
2. Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend bringing your current dog/cat as this may stress the feline out.
3. The animal cannot be taken on the day unless prior arranged (over 2 hr round trip), and the adoption agreement and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
4. Once collected, the 10 day settling period begins, if for any reason the pet needs to be returned, we will happily take them back into our care into a suitable foster home. The adoption fee minus $50 (admin fee) will be returned via bank transfer within 5 working days. If the pet is returned after this trial period there will be no refund made.
5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork, including the Change of Microchip Details form, is sent via email.
We endeavour to respond to your email within 48 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
