About Tia ~ Chihuahua X Foxie (pending adoption)
Have you ever seen eyes as sad as Tias? Don't worry little girl, we are going to find you the perfect home!
Tia is a sweet 11 year old, senior Chihuahua X Foxie girl who is looking for an equally sweet and mature mum or dad.
Her new parents will be looking for a little dog who is low maintenance to share their home and life with. They will understand that little dogs can sometimes be timid and should not be rushed at.
Tia has the trifecta of doggy manners. She is house trained, not a nuisance barker and not a digger. She has not had a lot of experience on the lead and can be unsure which direction to go. But she loves being out and about and would get the hang of it with some practice. Having said that at 3 1/2 kgs she does not need a lot of exercise.
Tia likes to spend time with her foster family, especially when they are in the kitchen making all those yummy smells. She would love your company and to be given the chance to bond with you, but will also be happy to be home alone while you go out to bowls or the local RSL for a few hours.
She is comfortable in the company of other dogs but not necessarily the social type. Often preferring to find a quiet place to sit and observe.
She is very well behaved in the car, sitting in that back quietly not quite brave enough to look out the window.
This perfect little girl would like to sleep in a little doggy bed beside yours at night. Maybe even with a soft blanket so that she could make into a little cocoon.
Tia's new home will have a fully fenced front yard. Age has not slowed her down and given the chance she will slip past an unsuspecting visitor out the front door.
Tia is a sweet, gentle and timid soul who needs someone who is looking to share their retirement with her.
For more information or to meet Tia, please contact her foster carer Kylie on sausageandmaggie@outlook.com Tia is in foster care in Newcastle area, NSW and is not available for adoption interstate. You can also fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
Tia's adoption fee is $200 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.
