About 1001/1002 - Neptune & Nautilus
SAY HI TO THE MAGNIFICENT NEPTUNE & NAUTILUS⚓️
Hello Everyone, it’s your favourite water babies, Neptune and Nautilus here! And were looking for our forever homes.
There’s nothing wishy washy about us were two beautiful, bold young men ready to set sail and find our fame and fortune (in human terms that means our forever homes).
We tick all the boxes, we love to keep you company while you relax, watch some TV or read a book. We love to cuddle and will keep you warm all year round, we don’t care what the weather is like. We will happily join you for meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner, in fact we insist on joining you for all meals...you never know when you will need our help with cleaning the dishes or getting rid of those pesky leftovers, we couldn’t possibly have them going to waste.
Our foster home has other cats and kittens as well as three spirited young boys who we can’t enough of. As you can imagine noise is also not issue for us, we're practically bomb proof!
We are typical kittens who love to play and get up to mischief, so if you have room in your hearts and homes for us we are waiting
We are of course the perfect house guests and use our litter boxes. We are very easy going where food is concerned, we love anything and everything! If you're wanting one...or more...confident little fur babies in your home, then we'd be happy to accommodate!
If you would like to meet Neptune or Nautilis, please fill in this adoption application form http://j.mp/Adoptionforms Or email adoptionpra@outlook.com.au

1001 – Neptune & 1002 - Nautilus
Gender: Male
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Colour: Tabby & White
DOB: 19/02/2019
Adoption Fee: $100 each (or $200 for the pair) reduced adoption fee due to the risk of Feline Infectious Peritonitis
*Neptune & Nautilus’ adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, vaccination, microchip, flea and worm treatment*
Medical Notes: Neptune & Nautilus were exposed to Ringworm, a common fungal infection, and Calicivirus, a respiratory infection. They did not show symptoms and were given the all clear by the vet.
A kitten from Neptune & Nautilus’s foster home likely developed Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP). FIP is a genetic mutation of a common feline infection called Feline Coronavirus. It is not known why some cats develop FIP and others do not, however there are a number of factors including a genetic predisposition. There is no treatment for FIP, the disease is fatal. Dogs and humans are not at risk of transmission of this condition.
There is no way to know whether any of the other fosters in the home will develop it, but after the age of 18 months old, the chances of developing it decreases significantly. Neptune and Nautilus could be shedding the virus and could pass it onto other cats he comes into contact with, and they are then also at risk of developing FIP, so he needs to go to a home with no with other cats under the age of 18 months until he is above this age. They also needs to be inside only to not come into contact with other cats until he reaches 18 months of age. However, they can be rehomed with another cat or kitten from their current foster home as they have the same risk.
