About Faith **On Trial Adoption**
Introducing Faith, the sweetest girl you'll ever meet!
Faith is obviously a very pretty dog, and while she is very sweet she comes with her own set of peculiarities. Due to her strange breeding, in photos it can be hard to capture her true size making them a little deceiving! While she is not a 'large' dog in the traditional sense of the word, she is actually quiet a tall, muscly dog who is roughly around 27kgs. Her sleek face and body shows the hound nature of her breeding well, and combined with her boxer-ish personality leads to a very fast paced dog; both mentally and physically.
Faith is constantly happy - her butt is always wagging and she always has a smile on her dial! She has dog equivalent of ADHD which makes her VERY energetic, her body practically vibrates with energy over the smallest of things and when she goes into this over excited threshold she cannot listen. She never stops moving, always pacing around or playing with her doggy companions, even in her sleep she has a tendency to run! She is quite the talker, she will answer you back and sing songs with you, but she will also let you know whenever someone is going past the house or a strange noise is outside - loudly. No amount of exercise has stopped these traits and her enthusiasm can be overwhelming for people when they meet her, but is a realistic look at what life with her will be like.
Faith is fast and she has no recall so she requires someone who will keep her appropriately restrained in public to avoid occurring injury as she will run away on an adventure if given the chance. Faith is peculiarly terrified of the water, she runs away when you pick up the water bowl which makes the beach a no-no as she will not go within 4m of the water and bath time a battle! She can find environments with a lot going on pretty overwhelming, which usually results in her crying and jumping around on the leash trying to be involved in everything that's happening.
Faith is suited to a home with someone home more often then not as she requires someone with time for her. Without physical and mental stimulation Faith has a tendency to get bored easily, and when she does she becomes destructive digging, chewing and tearing whatever she can get, so she is not suited to a home where she is left unsupervised for long periods of time. She does need unrestricted access to inside of the house when humans are not home, when left outside she makes her displeasure known very loudly until she is let back inside. Faith is not suitable for children under 12 as she is very enthusiastic in her affection, a jumper who throws out her paws and loves to pretend she is a lap dog.
Faith is bursting with personality! She loves being the strong, independent boss lady of her friends and does not like to be told what to do by other dogs, she needs a friendly, submissive male doggy companion to keep her company as she has never lived without another dog before and does not cope without one. This boy doggo needs to be similar to her in age, energy and size to keep up with her hyperactive nature, she will be too much for a dog over 7. She is currently living with cats and is good with them, though sometimes she does get over excited and chase them so any felines in her new home will need to have a strong personality to stand up for themselves. She is not good with rabbits, and we do not believe she will be good with chickens or other small animals.
Despite her peculiarities, Faith is a very smoochy girl who just wants to be loved by her humans, she needs someone to understand that she's trying her best to please you but she doesn't always know the best way to do it!

Medical notes
Faith has the dog equivalent of ADHD which makes her attention span extremely short. There is no medication for it, she will just require patience.
