About Maisy π
Maisy....our super sweet Staffy mix girl who absolutely adores attention from her humans and enjoys the company of other dogs. She is currently being fostered on 2.5 acres with 6 other dogs of all ages and size s, sheep and also chickens (separate secure area)and is everyone's friend. She has also had interactions with the host sheep and is learning that, whilst they do act like dogs at times, they can't keep up with her energy. Maisy can be a little shy when first meeting people, but once she feels safe, she will be your best friend and loyal companion.
We don't know too much about Maisy's history before coming into care, other than she was found wandering the streets of Singleton and taken to the local Pound, but from the moment she arrived in care, she has only ever known love, affection and positive reinforcement training. Maisy is super food focused, which means she responds well to training when food is involved and also crate trained. This beautiful girl loves to run, play with other dogs and loves her soft toys.

Food Aggression β
Dominance β
During her time in care, Maisy has shown no food aggression, although she sees nothing wrong with stealing the other dogs food if fed with them (this also includes treats). Impulse control is a work in progress but she is learning, slowly. She does walk quite well on leash with minimal pulling and understands 'sit' (especially when food is involved). Maisy will need an experienced dog handler who will continue on with her training in her new home.
Maisy is not currently living with children, but would be suitable for older children who enjoy an active, energetic dog. She does love plenty of exercise but also loves to snuggle with her humans for some quiet time and has not shown signs of separation anxiety when left for short periods or overnight. We would love to see Maisy be adopted into a home with another dog, so she has a furry friend to keep her company while her humans are away. If she was to be an only dog, ongoing socialisation with other dogs would be required, so that she continues to be everybody's friend π
Maisy is located in Wyee Point on the Central Coast NSW and is now ready to find her forever home. Please complete the questions outlined in the Adoption details below πΎ

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous girl. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, we will send you through an Adoption Questionnaire and then your enquiry will be passed onto the appropriate carer. Successful applications will be contacted via phone.
