About Arnie D0974 on trial 22/7/18
Arnie is a lovely little companion dog who finds himself looking for a new home. He's a sweet, placid doggy. He is house trained after a couple of initial accidents, knows how to use the doggy door and enjoys being around his family. He likes walks but not too far at this stage due to his weight; he is working up to it but daily outings will definitely help him reduce that waistline! He is good with other dogs he meets.
Arnie came into care with some itching. He may be prone to skin flare ups. To minimise this our vet has recommended a diet free of red meat and dairy where possible (a good example is fish-based products). This seems to be working for Arnie in his foster home.
Arnie has come from a home with seniors and is most likely not particularly used to young children. He would most likely prefer a home with adults or older children, and where someone is around the home a fair bit.
Arnie came into care with his brother Rocky (also listed) and we would ideally love to see the two dogs rehomed together as they love each other's company (most of the time!).
If you feel Arnie (and Rocky) might be a perfect match for your home, please apply via our Adoption Enquiry Form for more information:
